A steam distributor is installed inside stainless steel ductwork with specified upstream and downstream clearance dimensions of one foot and three feet respectively. Steam supply and condensate return piping connect to the assembly with a slope of one-eighth inch per foot. A half-inch copper drain line connects below the distributor with the bottom of the ductwork sloped toward the drain point at a quarter-inch slope.
