Cable bracing assemblies attach to building structures via several standard methods depending on the substrate. A concrete expansion anchor secures a stake eye and cable assembly or URC clip with a cable loop to a concrete deck. Alternatively, an ASTM A-307 bolt or weld stud attaches the cable assembly directly to the bottom flange of a steel beam or joist. When drilling or welding is prohibited, a double-sided beam clamp grips the steel beam or joist flange to anchor the cable assembly. For bar joists, a looped cable connection wraps around the top chord at a panel point with a maximum forty-five-degree angle.
