An overhead metal plate is secured to the ceiling structure using four one-half-inch diameter expansion anchors with a minimum two-inch embedment. A fan-rated junction box attaches to the metal plate using four 10-32 by three-inch machine screws and nuts on each corner. A standard pipe clamp and cable eyelet secure three 3/32-inch diameter aircraft cables, each featuring a minimum breaking strength of 900 pounds, anchored per structural details to stabilize the drop. The suspension accommodates a maximum weight of 30 pounds within a seven-foot maximum span and four-foot-six-inch maximum drop.
