An anti-siphon freezeless hose bibb with a vacuum breaker is mounted through the finished exterior wall and exterior wall framing that has a minimum thickness of four inches. A silicone sealant is applied behind the box flange at the exterior finish face, and the elevation is coordinated per the architectural drawings. A minimum clearance of ten and one-eighth inches is maintained across the wall assembly. Intermediate support is installed between the framing members to attach a wall clamp for securing the cold water piping, which runs on the interior side of the insulation.
