An in-line fan cabinet with an internal liner is suspended from the building structure using all-threaded steel rods of lengths suited to the available space. Vibration isolators are integrated into the support rods, and seismic bracing brackets are attached to the unit for lateral stability. Flexible duct connections are provided between the fan and adjacent ductwork to isolate vibration and sound. A hinged access panel on the fan cabinet allows for motor access and maintenance.
