An in-line pump is connected to piping that incorporates isolation shut-off valves on both the suction and discharge sides. A strainer equipped with a ball valve blowdown and threaded hose connection filters the entering fluid. A gauge cock is provided typically for pressure monitoring, paired with a 0 to 20 PSI pressure gauge. A circuit setter with readout ports and a swing-type check valve regulate flow and prevent backflow on the discharge side.
