A linear diffuser installation connects to a lined plenum and flex duct. The assembly features air pattern volume control blades and a Young Regulator butterfly damper controlled with a flexible casing and wire inside the air stream. Shims are placed as required in the field against the framing. The surrounding soffit requires fill and tape in the field, maintaining a minimum twelve-inch clearance to the plenum top.
