An end-suction pump sits on a nominal three-and-a-half-inch concrete pad and an inertia base where specified. Piping connections incorporate a reducer, valves, and gauges mounted as low as practical while maintaining the required straight pipe length for balancing valves. Flexible connectors and flow control devices are installed in the suction and discharge lines according to project specifications.
