An eighth-inch diameter seven-by-nineteen galvanized aircraft cable connects to a cross-laminated timber deck using an SLH-34 anchor bracket by M.W. Sausse and Company. The bracket secures with an anchor bolt provided by the contractor. Slotted washers are required at both top and bottom connections per the bracing kit specifications. The cable is secured with two U-clamps at each end, installed hand taut without slack, though a swage fitting may be substituted at one or both ends.
