A galvanized support secures rooftop mechanical ductwork using a base plate welded continuously at the joint. Attachment options include direct base plate anchoring to a concrete or wooden roof structure, or lagging into a roofed-in sleeper. Waterproofing and roofing materials are provided by others as required by the general contractor. Structural calculations govern the specific duct support attachment method and hardware sizing.
