An insulated sheet metal plenum connects to a exterior wall penetration featuring a bird screen, brick vent, and a backdraft flapper. The duct is sealed watertight to the louver using exterior grade duct sealant while the perimeter is caulked by Division 6. Aluminum duct and duct collars are specified at the brick vent. A ten inch by ten inch access panel with secure latch and gasketed perimeter is provided below the duct. The dryer exhaust is sized per plans.
