A ceiling cassette fan coil unit weighing 50 pounds hangs from the structure using four three-eighths-inch threaded rods secured with double washers and nuts at the manufacturing attachment flange. One-eighth-inch galvanized aircraft cables extend from each corner of the unit as lateral braces, connected via B-Line B327 forty-five-degree angle brackets and isolated bushings where required. A rod stiffener consisting of a Tolstrut A-12 channel with Tolco figure 98 rod stiffener attaches to the threaded rods where lateral bracing occurs. Refrigerant piping and an electrical box are integrated into the unit while maintaining clear service space.
