Three distinct duct support assemblies are detailed for varying duct sizes. The first configuration supports ducts up to thirty inches maximum using a one-inch by sixteen-gauge hanger strap secured with sheet metal screws on the sides and bottom. The second detail supports ducts up to sixty inches maximum using three-eighths-inch diameter hanger rods, a trim forty-five-degree angle at the corner, and a one-inch by eighteen-gauge strap over the duct. The third configuration supports ducts sixty-one inches and over using one-half-inch diameter hanger rods with two-inch by two-inch by one-eighth-inch angles at the top and bottom of the duct trapeze.
