An air-source heat pump unit base rail bears on a spring isolator with a neoprene pad, supported by a concrete equipment pad over the roof. Vibration isolation and bolted or welded unit attachment are coordinated per the structural submittal. Stainless steel or chrome-plated fasteners are used for connections exposed to weather. Roofing and waterproofing are provided by the general contractor, with the concrete pad dimensioned as shown on plans.
