Insulated and non-insulated piping is supported from overhead structure using threaded hanger rods secured to forged steel clevis hangers for pipes five inches and under, or adjustable sockets and pipe rollers for pipes six inches and over. A twelve-inch long by sixteen gauge protective shield sits beneath the insulation at clevis locations. The insulation consists of a twelve-inch long half section of calcium silicate with a vapor barrier, extended two inches over each end for smaller pipe diameters. Insulation and calcium silicate are omitted entirely for non-insulated piping configurations.
