An inline exhaust fan is suspended from the overhead structure using isolating springs to reduce vibration transmission. Flexible connections attach the fan housing to lined sheet metal ducts on both the inlet and discharge sides. Minimum duct lengths of ten feet and five feet are maintained on either side of the unit to control noise and turbulence. A room thermostat controls fan operation.
