The suspended piping assembly is supported by a threaded rod anchored to the overhead structure. A clevis hanger cradles the insulated pipe, secured from above by a support nut and a locking nut. The pipe features foam glass insulation above the shield, which is protected by an insulation shield sized at three times the pipe diameter with a nine-inch minimum length.
