Schematic layout of an HVAC ductwork distribution system originating from an air moving device. Supply air routes from the main through sub-mains and branch mains containing two or more outlets, while return or exhaust air lines incorporate air moving devices located at each duct take-off. Variable air volume supply air systems connect to terminal VAV boxes feeding individual branch runs. Hangers and flexible connections support and isolate the duct network throughout the distribution path.
