The secondary drain pan is sized to match the unit dimensions plus six inches and is pitched toward the drainage outlet. Twenty-two gauge metal straps are turned under the pan and soldered continuously, with the upper end secured to the unit while maintaining unit access. The assembly provides overflow protection beneath mechanical equipment.
