The fan coil unit hangs from the structure above via all-thread rod hangers with vibration isolators. The assembly includes a heating and cooling coil section, a fan, and a flat filter section with a MERV-8 filter. Outdoor air enters through a duct fitted with an airflow regulator and a one-half inch wire mesh screen. Condensate management consists of a primary drain trap and a removable auxiliary drain pan extending three inches beyond the unit on all sides, integrated with a fan shutdown overflow detection device. A condensate pump provides pumped drainage, and a drain valve with a three-quarter inch hose end fitting, screwed cap, and chain facilitates maintenance. Foil-faced material insulates the unit plenum, and supply ductwork connects to the unit through a wire mesh screen.
