The assembly consists of a factory steel mounting roof curb supported by a two-by-four wood nailer strip. Rigid insulation is installed along the vertical face of the curb. A twenty-six gauge counter flashing is secured over the roofing membrane, which is run up under the flashing. The counter flashing is anchored to the curb using number ten by one-inch fasteners spaced at twenty-four inches on center. A neoprene seal is provided between the factory steel mounting curb and the equipment base.
