A vertical pipe anchor assembly secures a central pipe riser passing through a concrete floor slab. A heavy-duty pipe clamp is clamped around the pipe riser and bolted to vertical pipe anchors on each side. Each vertical pipe anchor is welded to a one-quarter-inch thick steel base plate, which is anchored directly to the concrete floor slab. Neoprene pads are provided as per the acoustical consultant, and additional structural support is coordinated per structural drawings.
