An upblast roof exhaust fan is mounted atop an exhaust duct extended over the top of the curb, complete with a curb cap and flashing. The roof curb and cant strip are detailed per architectural and mechanical drawings, interfacing with the roof and insulation layers. An exhaust duct drops downward through the assembly, containing a motorized damper and access door required for fans rated at three hundred CFM and over. The top of the roof curb must remain level when installed on sloped roofs.
