A pipe or duct is supported by a pipe clamp or angle ring resting on structural angles sized per load but no smaller than 1-1/2 inches by 1-1/2 inches by 1/4 inch. A diagonal angle brace ties the horizontal support back to a vertical mounting angle anchored directly to the masonry wall. Stainless steel expansion anchors fasten the vertical angle to the masonry substrate.
