An exhaust fan assembly mounts over a roof opening with a prefabricated curb and base flashing constructed from two plies of felt and a fiberglass cap sheet. The unit features an exterior motor out of the airstream and a butterfly damper at the discharge. A one-quarter-inch mesh wire screen covers the intake opening below. The exhaust fan is centered over an ESPR fire sprinkler head.
