An insulated flexible duct connects a galvanized sheet metal duct to a surface mounted supply air diffuser set in a T-bar ceiling. The duct is secured to overhead construction using a duct strap per specifications, while the flexible duct length is restricted to a maximum of five feet and three duct diameters. The inner liner is clamped behind the roll bead, sealed with duct sealant, and covered by the insulation jacket secured with sheet metal screws.
