A concrete housekeeping pad is placed over a structural slab with a minimum thickness of three and a half inches and a height adjusted as required for seismic anchors. The pad extends a minimum of six inches beyond the mechanical equipment on all sides. Reinforcement consists of number four rebar spaced at twelve inches on center in both directions. The pad is secured to the structural slab using three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch anchor bolts spaced at four feet on center.
