Suspended piping assemblies utilize threaded hangar rods fitted with optional vibration isolators where required by acoustic or mechanical specifications. Strap hangers support pipes with outside diameters of three inches and smaller, while clevis hangers support pipes four inches outside diameter and larger. Insulated piping includes a protective pipe shield alongside a pipe saddle or blocking to prevent crushing of the insulation. Uninsulated piping bears directly within the sizing constraints of the strap or clevis hanger.
