A suspended fan coil unit is supported from the structure above using three-eighths-inch threaded rods equipped with Mason PC30N spring isolators or an approved equal. Factory-supplied mounting brackets secure the unit, and seismic bracing is provided per the vibration isolator manufacturer's recommendations in compliance with the 2011 California Mechanical Code. Supply and return air ducts connect via flexible connections and feature acoustical duct insulation, with low-loss fittings on supply air ducts. Primary and secondary condensate drains tie into the system per plumbing plans.
