An automatic air vent connects to the main piping run using a three-quarter-inch connection fitted with a ball valve for isolation. A reducer transitions the connection into a full line size pocket or a four-inch maximum diameter riser. A one-quarter-inch copper tubing line extends from the top of the vent down to a floor drain for discharge.
