Insulated piping is supported along a metal stud or concrete wall using a continuous Unistrut P1000 channel secured with one-half inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ expansion bolts spaced at twenty-four inches on center maximum. Strut clamps secure the piping to the channel, maintaining a gap between the integral channel and mounting hardware to allow for thermal movement of the piping system. Wall supports are spaced at a maximum of eight feet on center with additional support provided within two feet of any change in pipe direction.
