Ceiling-hung equipment is suspended from the overhead structure using vertical support rods attached to equipment support members. Four-way seismic sway bracing is provided by four diagonal seismic wire rope or cable braces angled at forty-five degrees in plan view. The vertical angle of the sway braces ranges from thirty to ninety degrees per the structural table. Each brace connects to the support members to restrain lateral movement during seismic events.
