A twelve-inch-wide concrete mow curb sits upon a four-inch-thick compacted untreated base course with a minimum ninety-five percent compaction or greater per geotech report. The curb is reinforced with a number four continuous rebar. A planter bed abuts one side of the curb, while turf transitions to the opposite side, positioned a minimum of one inch below the top of the curb except at transition to curb notch.
