A double check valve assembly is housed within an Oldcastle precast concrete vault featuring locking steel doors flush with the finish grade. The internal piping utilizes PVC Schedule 80 fittings and includes a pressure reducing valve and typical pressure gauges oriented with test cocks upright for easy access. The vault rests on a bed of compacted five-eighths inch crushed rock with one-third cubic yard of drain rock placed at both ends where weep hole slots discharge. A one-inch PVC Schedule 40 weep hole slot drain provides drainage to rock pockets on both sides of the vault.
