A quick coupler valve and a typical drip layout detail for landscape irrigation systems. The quick coupler valve connects to a PVC supply line using brass nipples, brass street elbows, and a PVC schedule 40 tee or elbow. The assembly sits inside a twelve by eighteen inch plastic box with a steel hinged lockable cover, placed over a minimum six-inch depth of three-quarter-inch pea gravel. A twenty-four-inch minimum length number four rebar stake is attached to the supply piping using two stainless steel bands for vertical support. The valve box is set flush with the finish grade in turf areas and two inches above finish grade in groundcover areas, with the top of the valve located two inches below the top of the box cover. Additionally, a plan and section view show inline emitter tubing with zeri-bug emitters tied down with stakes at sixty inches on center over a natural subgrade and rock mulch.
