A shallow bio-treatment area abuts a deepened concrete paving curb, incorporating a one-foot-six-inch planting soil layer over a one-foot aggregate storage layer. A subdrain pipe runs within the aggregate layer and connects to a storm drain line. The entire bioretention assembly is wrapped in a bio-treatment area liner and filter fabric.
