A slot drain channel is embedded within a reinforced concrete surround that requires a minimum of four inches of concrete on the sides and bottom. Concrete unit pavers slope toward the drain channel. The assembly is set over native soil or a prepared subgrade constructed in accordance with the geotechnical report. A cleanout box must be located in a discrete location, such as corners, avoiding stair cores and paving intersections.
