A ball valve installation on a poly vinyl chloride schedule 80 piping system is housed inside a valve box with a locking purple cover. The valve is connected via nipples and a union, positioned at a specified height above the finish grade. The piping rests on unmortared brick supports over a cubic foot concrete footing and a six inch deep pea gravel sump. Finish grade and pipe depths comply with project specifications.
