A cantilevered end wind girt with weep holes per architect frames into a mechanical screen post, extending to a maximum twenty-four inch cantilever. The open end of the girt is sealed with a three-sixteenths-inch cap plate. The top of the mechanical screen post is closed with a one-quarter-inch cap plate. A backspan wind girt with weep holes per architect connects to the opposite side of the post, secured with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds.
