A base or home plate is set flush with the finish grade and connected via a male base anchor inserted into a female base receptacle. The receptacle is embedded within a cast-in-place concrete base measuring six inches square by one foot zero inches deep. The upper two feet zero inches of soil directly beneath the concrete base must be compacted per the geotechnical report. Finish surface and finish grade vary slightly between first, second, and third base versus home plate.
