This bioswale section details the subsurface soil and aggregate layers contained by a concrete curb alongside cast-in-place concrete and stabilized aggregate paving. The trench features a one-foot-six-inch bioswale soil mix layer overlying permeable landscape fabric. Beneath the fabric lies a four-inch layer of three-eighths-inch clean pea gravel and a one-foot layer of three-quarters-inch clean drain rock resting on uncompacted subgrade. The side slopes are graded at three to one, and the overall trench width is four feet minimum as sized per plans.
