Site grading modifications are implemented around an established tree within a designated root protection zone. A protective fencing boundary surrounds the root zone to prevent construction damage, while proposed grading contours adjust the soil profile outside the critical area. A wood chip mulch layer with a one hundred fifty millimeter depth is applied across the root protection zone to retain soil moisture and prevent compaction.
