A pop-up spray head is installed flush with finish grade in turf areas or level with mulch in planting beds, positioned one to three inches clear of all hardscape surfaces and one-half inch below adjacent hardscape surfaces. The spray head connects via a one-half inch Marlex street elbow and a one-half inch swing pipe ell to a flexible swing pipe with a maximum length of twenty-four inches. This flexible arm ties back into the lateral line using a schedule forty slip-by-slip-by-thread tee or ell, maintaining a depth of cover between twelve and sixteen inches.
