A one-inch diameter pipe serves as the gate post with a quarter-inch by four-inch by four-inch plate welded to the pipe and the corrugated metal gate frame. An eight-inch long rod is welded to the top pipe sleeve and set into the bottom sleeve adjacent to the concrete masonry unit block wall.
