Steel landscape edging consists of one-eighth inch thick by four-inch wide by sixteen-foot long steel sections secured by tapered steel stakes spaced at five stakes per sixteen-foot section on the exterior side of the gravel mulch area. The gravel mulch side is maintained one-half inch below the top of the edging with compacted material along the edge. On the exterior side, compacted soil is positioned one and one-quarter inches below the top of the edging, while bark mulch is maintained one inch below the top of the edging. Installation must be completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications using Sure-Loc edging or approved equal.
