The copper pipe transitions to PVC using a Blu-lock adapter and socket, located a minimum of four inches away from the building wall. A Link-seal module provides a watertight seal at the pipe penetration through the building wall and structural slab. Rigid insulation, waterproofing, and a concrete topping slab cover the assembly. All pipe transitions and transitional fittings are fully insulated.
