The synthetic turf surface includes rubber infill set flush with the track surfacing, resting directly on an elastic layer pad. Below the pad lies a 3-inch finishing stone layer supported by a base stone layer. A geotextile fabric separates the base stone from the ninety-five percent compacted subgrade below. The subgrade depth varies with a seven-inch minimum thickness per the grading plans.
