A 3/8-inch clear crushed aggregate surface and concrete paving meet at a utility yard. The surface layers sit over a 6-inch compacted aggregate base, which is underlain by a geotextile fabric and a compacted subgrade. A 6-inch extension of the geotextile fabric is provided under the adjacent paving where sequencing allows. Trenching is restricted within 24 inches of the aggregate paving.
