An irrigation remote control valve connects to a PVC mainline pipe and lateral pipe using PVC elbows and a female adapter. A one-inch ball valve is provided for each valve grouping. Control wires feature coiled expansion loops and waterproof connections, with wire bundled and taped every ten feet. The valve and box assembly sits on a minimum three-inch depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel. The contractor must install the necessary solenoid adaptor for actuator attachment, and size the box to fit the remote control valve.
