Cold-formed steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center connect to a deep-leg track whose size and gauge match the studs. A four-inch-long L4x4x14 gauge angle attaches to the beam per plan using two number ten sheet metal screws. The assembly maintains a vertical clearance between one-eighth inch minimum and three-quarters inch maximum, with the beam centerline located a maximum of eight inches from the stud wall centerline.
